“Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it’s better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring.”
― Marilyn Monroe
Let’s be real, blogging isn’t easy. I think it’s equivalent to coming up with new ideas for a novel every day (I know because of experience), but you get my point. It’s not easy, and there’s pressure to always come up with fresh content. I am not a full-time blogger, although if I was, I don’t think it would make a big difference in terms of posting more than once a week. It bugs me because I absolutely love it, but it drives me mad because I don’t know what to write. I want my blog to be read, of course, but I don’t want my blog to be read because I post about makeup or other popular things, but because it’s interesting in its own way.
Two years ago, I was walking with my sister and we got into a conversation about humanity, which honestly isn’t that uncommon in our conversations. I suddenly had an odd idea pop into my mind.
Now, before I say what it is, I want to mention that this past week I’ve been hearing a lot about human modification. It hit me that perhaps my theory cannot be too far from the truth, but then again, maybe I’m just a crazy conspiracy theorist and I really want life to be more than what is.
I truly believe that people have been modified a long time ago. Longer than what we can remember (or rather what we’re told we could remember). We were powerful beings able to create things beyond the physical. We were able to do things that people today would find absolutely insane and impossible. One day, however, a group of people decided they want to be more powerful and suddenly things went the other way. I cannot get into detail for obvious reasons. After taking away everything and making sure that the following generations don’t know of their own history (and by the way, this is not that uncommon. People do this to societies they think are below them. You can read a few history books and see for yourself), we were introduced to religions, a way to give power to something outside ourselves, and frankly, we would not know what to do with ourselves if in fact we ever did find anything peculiar in our existence. In other words, we were dumbed down. There are so many who would argue me on this. But I think there is more to our existence than we know. Some things are truly to be left in the dark because life becomes unbearable knowing them. However, it doesn’t hurt to try.
You know how you know it’s true? You can feel it inside.
Our world is run by a power-hungry bunch. Our world leaders aren’t the greatest of examples, and you don’t have to know much about politics to figure that out.
I really love truth. I love real. It is beautiful to see and experience being yourself without minding what anyone has to say, and I’m saying this because it’s not exactly easy. I wonder sometimes what I can post because I have a lot in my life that isn’t exactly something normal people do. Perhaps it’ll attract those like me. I am not afraid of negativity because it shows I’ve touched someone (even though it didn’t produce a positive response).
I do hope that this would get me to tell you your crazy, odd ideas on our existence. I really would love to hear it, and feature some cool ones in my next blog post!
But here are my coming clean confessions:
